PERSONALITY QUESTIONS

What skills does your character bring to the situation?
Danny has a lot of interesting skills that he will be bringing to the game. Most of them are implied when he talks about K'un-Lun and his time there. He's learned how to survive with very little and be disciplined. A lot of these skills are combat based like martial arts but part of his training was learning how to be well rounded, not just how to fight. A lot of martial arts value spiritual enlightenment as well, learning how to be patient and be part of a community. Within K'un-Lun Danny had been part of a community like that and had shared in the chores and responsibilities. This gives him a lot of practical skills that can help those within the game as well as offer the same advice he'd been given in K'un-Lun. Sometimes Danny doesn't follow his own advice but that can't always be helped.

Why did you choose this specific character for 6I, and how do you picture them fitting into the game?
I chose Danny and his canon point because he'd be able to teach and learn within 6I. He's at an emotionally uneven point in his life where she's trying to balance Danny Rand, the child who had lost his parents in a plane crash, and the Immortal Ironfist, weapon and protector of K'un-Lun. He has a lot to learn and being placed back in a setting that is similar but also different from K'un-Lun will have an interesting affect on him. He'll have to learn to survive all over again; maybe with a healthier state of mind.

I don't think Danny will get along with everyone. He's very angry at this canon point, blaming everything else for his parents death and the sudden change to his life while being crushed under the weight of the Ironfist. Not having that power will cause a point of strife in him that he'll have to over come before moving on.

I look forward to his character development at this point and to see how everything goes.

How do you imagine your character will survive in 6I, and in what ways will they contribute to the settlement, if any? Danny will help out in any way that he can. It's back to that community mindset but he also genuinely likes to help people. I think he'll fit in easily in this regard because there are so many things that he can do and ways that he'd want to help people. Danny has trouble asking for help though, so he might struggle at first in 6I, but as he opens up to people and learns to trust them in the way that he trusts Claire and Colleen in canon, he'll be able to not only survive but thrive.

How will your character react to...

Being separated, possibly permanently, from loved ones and their previous life, including loss of powers, if applicable? The lack of powers will affect Danny the most. They were a defining trait of his life for so long and he'll have to figure out how to handle not having them. He will be angry and angsty for awhile but it'll give him a chance to figure out who he is beyond the Ironfist as well as who he is beyond a boy who lost his parents. Not having that power will make him face the pieces of the past he's yet to accept as well as his other fears. He'll have to find a new strength to wield that won't be connected to the Ironfist.

Their environment being manipulated, possibly in strange or extraordinary ways, and possibly in ways which restrain them? Danny hates being manipulated despite the fact that it happens a lot in canon. He'll try and last out towards those manipulations or even events he can't control. It's a learning experience for him because it'll give him a chance to face the things he can't control. It will not be pleasant for him. He'll be angry and lash out at the people he knows and then feel bad about it later. He'll have to learn to apologize eventually but he'll be stubborn about these manipulations and changes until he accepts that he can't control or fix everything.

Being physically and/or mentally manipulated, such as having hallucinations or suddenly possessing special abilities they did not have before? This is actually the same as the above. Danny's reactions won't change much. Hallucinations will specifically make him begin to question what it real and what he knows but otherwise he'll feel like he's a toy in someone else's game and be angry about it. Gaining new abilities will confuse the hell out of him but losing them again will once again make him feel like someone else's play thing which will then get him angry again.

POWERS & SPECIAL ABILITIES

Chi Manipulation: All of his powers fall under this one skill. Danny can harness his chi to manipulate his physical and mental capabilities, this includes summoning the Iron Fist. He is able to learn more abilities as he continues to train. He uses mediation to recharge his chi.

Iron Fist Punch: By channeling his chi, Danny is able to summon great strength to his right fist. He is resistant against injury and over a hundred times stronger; strong enough to punch Luke Cage into a wall. This takes a lot of energy and Danny has to eat a lot in order to recover his strength. Sometimes he can only summon the Iron Fist once a day. It varries.

Chi Blast: This is what the internet calls this ability but it works well for a name. Using the Iron Fist, Danny is able to release his chi outwards, in what appears to be an explosion. This is how he destroys the top floor of Rand Enterprises.

Chi Healing: This ability does not need the Iron Fist called in order to use it. He is able to direct his chi and heal people. He's done this once successfully and needs to practice in order to do more. At the moment he's rid another persons body of poison.

Enhanced Reflexes & Agility & Endurance: Channeling his chi allows Danny to super charge his focus, resilience, stamina and perception. This allows him to react to danger at a superhuman rate. This doesn't require the use of his fist, however he will often use it with his fist. He can also affect his agility with his chi, allowing him to flip over cars or take two jumps to reach a second story window. It takes a lot of energy and depending on how long he channels his chi with denote how long he needs to rest afterwards.

SAMPLE 1
Why did you choose this sample? This is a great example of Danny just being nice. Which is a thing he does.

SAMPLE 3
Why did you choose this sample? Sample with canon CR he remembers. He doesn't remember Jess and that thread is in the one above where he's texting her and that's also great.
